Life Begins:

And so life begins
in the shape of a single egg
Easter time allows us to reflect
how life begins
and thus ends
from egg we come
and from egg we go
in the sense of birth
and nourishment
of others eggs when we pass
this is but the curve of life
and such a time
it pays heed to remember
all life is fragile
and we all must surely protect
this here life
now and forever more
