Strucken:

Who will remember
this day
who will stand an say
I was there
I stood in this destruction
who will note all the names
the very faces of those
not stood with you so
the echoes of their voices
travelling down the roads
unto the homes
they once lived
who will shed a tear
for the innocent
the lost
the pain inflicted
mentally physically
left scared
to carry on
this strength this resolve
that makes us human
will make them rebuild so
bigger stronger mightier
then ever before
with the knowledge those passed
will never be forgotten
the ability to move on
to fortify to envisage
the next part of their lives so
how fragile we all are
but how unique we be
when the time comes
that needs hands
held within each others
in the promise of another tomorrow
life is a endless circle
along the way a loss of two
will surely strike
making us pause
reflect on how special
each person is
thus becoming the engine
to continue
to rebuild
to create
to live
to love
to give
as always
as one

Loss Of A Soul:

Another life another human
Called on home
Another soldier reporting Sir
I've done my job
as down below
their scattered remains lay
Broken dreams of a unit a man
A brotherhood united
The tears fall
Mingling with the blood soaked dust
As the body of a fallen comrade
Lies in situ no longer here
Released to the heavens
Safe now in Gods arms
unto his fold
Not forgotten
 always remembered
As the chosen few struggle on
To the hope of an end
Where they hope an pray
The sun will shine
An the rain of tears
will surely give way to those
Who watch down on them so
Keeping them safe evermore

It is time to bring home our Soldiers
they have done their job
Let no more suffer
return them to the safety of loved ones
and let them not remember
the pain they felt
within the pride of being all they are
